Born and raised in Gustine, Lucia resides on a small farm with her family which own and operate a Club Lamb business.
She previously worked in the computer technology industry in Santa Clara County for 10 years before moving back to the San Joaquin Valley.
She started in the insurance business in 1986. Positions she has held have included Customer Service Representative, Claims Representative, Employee Benefits Department Assistant, New Business Marketing, and has been a Sales Associate for Rico, Pfitzer, Pires since 1996. Lucia holds an Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist designation since 2006.
Currently she is President of GUSTO (College Scholarship Organization), member of the California Women for Agriculture, Merced County Farm Bureau, Independence Day in the Park Committee, Charter Member of the Merced County “Friends of the Fair” organization, and a Project Leader for the Westside 4H Club for the last 16 years.
